Visa Fee
Prepare Draft of INR 51,000/-.
They should be made in favour of:
- British High Commission (if applying in Northern India)
- British Deputy High Commission - Mumbai (Western India)
- British Deputy High Commission - Chennai (Southern India)
- British Deputy High Commission - Kolkata (Eastern India)
An additional handling charge of Rs 170 per application will be levied by VFS.
You can also pay Cash at the VFS office.

Photograph: 1 (Download photo specifications)
- Size of the photo should be 45mm X 35mm.
- Taken against a light colored (white, off-white etc.) background
- Unmounted, clear and of good quality
- Printed on normal photographic paper
- Full face without sunglasses, hat or other head covering unless for ethnic or religious reasons
- Digital photographs are strictly not accepted.

Cover Letter

Valid Passport
- Original Passports [New & Old]
- Passport should be valid for at least 6 months

English Language Proficiency
- IELTS Test Report or;
- Certificate for Medium of Instruction from University [Bachelor’s Degree]

Proof of Age
- Birth Certificate or;
- Full Driving Licence

Educational Documents – Principal Applicant
- Degree Certificates & Mark Sheets
- Higher Secondary School Certificate
- Secondary School Certificate

Work Experience Documents – Principal Applicant
- Employer Attested Pay Slips – Last 12 months
- Employer References – All the Employers [Service Certificate, Appointment Letter, etc.,]

Evidence of Your Financial Status
- Bank Statement for the past 12 months showing the salary credited.
- Bank Statement covering the 3 month period immediately preceding the application.
- That there are sufficient funds present in the account i.e. the balance must always be at least £2800
- Personal Tax Returns for the last 1 years (3 years optional) & copy of Form-16

Proof of Accommodation
- Invitation Letter from a UK Resident [Friend or Relative] or;
- Hotel Reservation

Additional Documents

- C.A. Certificate
- Job Search evidence
- Integra Application form
- Photo copy of ALL the pages of passport.
- Photo copy of the application form (with your photo).
